If there are no new compounds then it would speed things up, along with the 21st century cuts act that recently passed, and Trump's focus to streamline the FDA.

This is wishful thinking. Not trying to be a downer I have just seen so much of these slightly optimistic posts that give you false hope. People post stuff on here and I would believe it by clinging on to hope with them. This product is a ways away. Even with Trump trying to speed up the process. Best we can hope for is a company coming out with an off the wall topical or something which does not need approval. In other words we are screwed.

You got youth on your side still so enjoy it while you can. I don't have that luxury anymore. Although mentally I sometimes act like your age just so I can't forget middle age.

My understanding is that this question was not addressed at all, so no change on that unknown yet.

I do believe I did ask him if it was minoxidil and he would not confirm it. They are trying all types of different types of chemicals but none were mentioned.

Thanks Doctor House. I would just like to point out that Follica is keeping their secrets better than many spy agencies out there. It is ridiculous how secretive there were up to this point. Its been over 10 years and I still remember those lithium patents being mentioned on hair site. The one problem they don't seem to have is money though...

Follica plans to start this study in the second half of 2016 with a best case product release date of 2018. A few months ago they then announced the delay of the pivotal study into 2017 and this is now confirmed. I would guess that the above best case product release scenario date must have now shifted to 2019?

Thank you @DoctorHouse for doing this. Sucks we didn't get any super great info. I don't trust the fact that they didn't answer about causing damage, whether minoxidil is used or not, and about it damaging existing hair. Even if this does work I don't think it will be perfected or available for a long *** time.
