Well sure but that's because typical hair transplants require a lot of specialist time but with Tsuji it takes a lot of the labour out of it, especially considering he plans to automate a large part of it. I imagine this will reduce the cost by a decent amount. In the early stages of commercialisation, we would be paying more for the R&D and less for their time.considering a top transplant Doctor could charge close to 50K, I'd bet it's going to cost more than that if it proves to be as good as everyone thinks. I wouldn't be surprised if it's around 100K in the beginning, especially when Tsuji said it will be limited to a certain # of patients at first. Of course, all of this is conjecture considering we don't know if it will ever make it to market, or how effective it really is.
