Hello Gents,

Ive got a problem that i really cant seem to get rid off for the last few months ive tried everything.

What it is that myt scalp itches like hell nearly all the time, ive been using the following for about 2 1/2 months

finasteride 1mg once a day
Nizoral - x2-3 times a week (Use conditioner after)
T-Gel - x2 a week (Use conditioner after)
Tricomin shampoo and Conditioner x2 a week
Paul Mitchell Shampoo 3

I also blow dry my hair once a day and put some wax in it to style.

At first i thought it was the blowdrying so i cut it down to once a day and sometimes go a few days just leaving it to dry naturally.

PLEASE, can some one help cause the itch is driving my mad, sometimes my head feels hot too its a weird feeling

I am a diffuse thinner and i have started to notice my hairloss over the last 5 months. I know can see my hair is going a lot thinner and i can see my scalp on my crown a little bit and also some receeding at the front.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Thanks

KEV

Like cassin said.

And when you do slowly introduce the various shampoos I would also recommend looking into T/Sal.

in the meantime.....

When you have finished showering/bathing, rinse your scalp with freezing cold water for a couple of minutes.

Also back in my itchy days I used a little moisturiser every now and again (Nutrogena viasably young anti-aging day cream with active copper peptides).

Good luck

Note: my itchy scalp eventually dissapeared never to be seen again without changing a thing, like cassin says it can take a while for your scalp to adjust to the onslaught.

I used to get alot of itch also....now I apply some lotion or oil onto my scalp every night before I go to bed. And now the itch stops. Our scalp is just like our skin. When our Skin is dry, it itches. Yes I do understand, our scalp itch is also caused my inflammation. In my opinion, using Nizoral will help with the inflammation, and some kind of oil will condition the scalp and prevents it from being too dry. Let me know if it helps.
