Using Xandrox and Proxiphen-N/Proxiphen at the same time

Ive just read on a posting somewhere that using Proxiphen or Proxiphen N with minoxidil (eg Xandrox) may be better.

So, Ive got a few questions. Is it ok to apply these two at the same time without....

(a) causing any absorption problems of the second one to go on the scalp?

(b) causing any reactions between the two products?

Or is it the case that they cant be applied one after the other without a wash or time delay.

Ive also always wondered about any residue left on the scalp from previous applications , and wether or not that will infleunce absorption of any topicals applied later etc (without wash the scalp).

If you use straight minoxidil I can advise you, with the Xandrox, there are different formulations so the same may not necessariy apply.

If you wish to use both, I personally would use one morning, the other night. If you want to use both at the same time, use the minoxidil liquid first, wait 15 minutes, then apply the Phoxiphen, this will act as a occlusive dressing and increase absorption of the liquid. Just know, the Phoxiphen contains minoxdil too, so cut back a bit on the initial liquid. You may also have greater side effects using this method, so be forewarned.

A clean scalp naturally absorbs better.
