In order to treat it, you got to follow a special diet..like no YEAST no fats..etc....

Drink a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar twice a day and apply it after a shower twice a day(yes that means you have to wash your hair twice a day till the moment your SD goes into remission and than you can prolly apply it once a week)

You always have to watch your diet, if you do not you will have flare ups!
(That means no more typical American diet, forget about fast foods! forget about Sugar too in terms of drinks, chocolate etc..) I guess thats the part your derm didnt tell you, but I am telling you since I got SD and I know exactly how to put that thing into a remission :)
Try to eat foods which are organic including breads, breads that contain yeast wont cut it.

You only have it on your scalp or other body parts? Once you gonna take care of it on your scalp you will see a big decline in hair shed! Which might be the reason for your hairloss, cross your fingers on that! than your hair will be -> :freaked2:

LostWind thanks for your answer

SB seems pain in the *** :D but i will give a try to have 'strong diet'

Have you noticed hair grow/hair thicker after you put SB in control.
About the shampoo, do you have any recommendation (except revita) that are SLS free.

Apple Cider Vinegar makes your hair stronger and also makes it thicker.

The way that I apply it is: I have an old Tricomin bottle I just put the vinegar in it..and right after I wash my hair I make sure that my hair is styled to be spiky like... that way you can spray the vinegar easily and it reaches the scalp and doesnt get stuck on your hair instead.

The first day try 50% vinegar and 50% water to see if your scalp can handle full strength vinegar..cause it might itch/burn depends how bad is your SD.

So if you can find a spray bottle that be the best I guess. Before I tried using a dropper which saves a lot more vinegar but who cares its cheap anyways and you will cover more area with a sprayer than a dropper. Also depends on your haircut. if I would be buzzed I would just apply the thing to my palms and just rub all over my scalp but thats not the case with my haircut hehe

Thanks for the tips

btw. Does the alcohol in Tricomin have negative reaction with your sb problem?

Also about the shampos, do you avoid using shampoos that contaion SLS, PG or alcohol

While using tricomin, I see the same amount of shed..It didnt help me at all..I definately can see an improvement with ACV, I am not sure about alcohols. I use nizoral twice a week and the rest I use a baby shampoo.

Like i know Tricomin contains alcohol which is bad for SB, i have simular experience with rogaine. I'm planing to give a try to the Foam version.

btw. i see on your regime list that you use/used spironolactone cream. Did spironolactone help you or make your situation worse
