VR Headset while wearing hair system

My son wants a PS4 VR headset for Christmas and I would like to try it but worried it might pull out hairs at the front of the system, where the headset rests on your head, near the fringe.

Has anyone tried using the VR headset while wearing a system?

I doubt it would be a problem, I assume you would just have to be a tiny bit more careful when taking the system off to not put too much tension on the hairline. Considering people wear hats and beanies with a system just fine I would think its pretty much the same thing

I use one everyday for around 30 mins and there are no issues. Just have to be a bit careful taking it off and on as others have said.

I pull a neck gaiter over my head. It seems to keep everything in place so the strap doesn’t pull on the hair. Works pretty well. Side benefit is that it keeps the VR set clean.

You could try wearing a silk headband, under the guise of saying it is a sweat band. That way the straps/device are all on top of the silk and not rubbing -

Yeah, the immersive experience really makes visualisation a lot easier. I use it for that and meditation using Gear VR.

It can leave the hair a touch flat where the headset rests just like normal hair would behave, but washes back to normal
