Walker Easy Green is probably the worst tape out there.

As I have a huge problems with tapes causing irritation and itching after 3-4 days. I'm trying every tape out there.
I use Walker max hold sport scalp protector always but hardly makes much difference.

Walker Easy Green was a b**ch to remove the backing, it kept lifting off the hair system and not coming off the backing when it was applied.
I had to give each piece of tape a good firm rub and remove the edge with fine tweezers. Was still proving difficult to remove the backing.
And smells horrible like pvc.

Then it lifted a bit at the back after 3 days,by the 4th day it was driving me crazy with constant itching so removed it with lace release spray,it was intermittent itching on day 3.
None on day 1 and 2.

Other tapes have so far caused itching by day 3-4 but not been such a pain in the arse to apply or prematurely start lifting on day 3.
2-4 week hold, my ***.
Walker No Shine was rock solid, shame my skin don't like it after 3-4 days.

Oh and it shines through the lace, claimed to be semi dull.

I have Walker lace front blue, proflex 2,natural hold.
Vapon lace FX tapes left to try before I tried them all out there.

Something called Jesband tape I will try at the last resort. It doesn't use acrylic but it's expensive.
23 euros for 5 strips.

Yeah it will be, I’m just trying out ghost bond for first time with full Swiss lace base. Moving away from tape due to the toxicity of acrylic adhesive. I’m hoping if I do weekly attachment then cleanup won’t be too bad

Vapon Lace FX tape is a pile of weak sh*t.
And caused a f*****g red mark on my skin despite f*****g patch testing it for 24 hours beforehand.

3 days and it started easily peeling off my head. I didn't need much Lace Release at all to remove the rest.

Tapes left for me to try are:
Walker Lace Front blue,Pro Flex 2,Natural Hold.
Jesband single and dual layer.

Glues:
Ghostbond Platinum and XL.

You haven't tried the Jesband yet? Waiting for your thoughts on it!
I will need to patch test that one first. Although it doesn't use acrylic but that doesn't mean I won't be allergic to it.

But I need to wait for this angry red sore mark from the Vapon lace fx tape to f*** off.

I did patch test it for 24 hours and used a scalp protector(Walker Max Hold Sport).
But I STILL get a f*****g reaction to it.
Thats made me anxious and think tapes and glues I'll need to be patch tested twice.
Like with say a wasp sting for example the allergic reaction doesn't always happen the first time, usually the second time if it happens.
So could be the same with tapes.glues etc.

I'm close to giving up if that tape doesn't work.

I'll try Jesband tape when this f*****g rash has gone.
I'll be patch testing that too. Maybe will have to twice or for 3 days, if 24 hours is not enough.
If that doesn't work, I'll try GhostBond Platinum and XL.
And last resort got2b glued.

Then I give up after that if I still get itching issues after 3-4 days and shave my head for good.
I dont take vanity over my health.

I don't trust acrylic based tape anymore. As I read it's possible I developed a contact sensitivity to it over time.
As delayed reactions can appear even 24,48 or 72 hours later.
I'll be giving away or throwing away the 3 unused Walker tapes.
