Washed system for the first time prior to salon cut in / installation - do I comb it as it's wet to prevent tangles or wait until it's dry?

I'm reading conflicting information -- some say comb while it's wet to take care of tangles. I have seen others say don't comb or brush when wet cause it would shed more.
Comb/brush dry or wet?

I usually comb the hair when it is slightly damp. Spray a bit of leave-in conditioner on then comb the hair. A big no-no if you want to comb wet hair. It can cause heavy shedding.

Always comb/detangle your hair BEFORE washing it. It makes life easier. Also, the knots get weaker when wet, so you need to be very gentle when combing wet hair otherwise you'll get more shedding.

Do not use a comb on a hair system- use a vent brush. And spray some kind of leave in on the damp hair before doing that.
