washing hair

I wash my hair every morning. I see a lot of people only wash thier hair every other day or every 3 days. After using rogaine foam 2 times and also hair product I have to wash it everyday or it would be a greasy mess.


Is it bad to wash 1 time a day?

washing your hair will not exacerbate your hairloss. I wouldnt recommend washing more than once per day b/c you'll dry your hairout...I wash my hair everyday

I think washing your hair daily is a very good idea, you can use a moisturizing shampoo on the days you are not using Nizoral. This will keep your hair and scalp in the best condition. I also find my hair feels a lot thicker when i have been washing it daily. But sometimes its hard to do because there have been times where I simply dread the shower as it truely reveals the extent of my thinning on the top of my head. I try not to look into the mirror until my hair is dry!

Washing does not increase hair loss, my trichologist confirmed. It is good to keep hair and scalp clean and if yo have greasy skin then every day is good. If you have dry skin then you can get away with every 2-3 days and let some oil build up which is good.

I only use nizoral once a week as it really dries out the scalp but it is suggested to use twice a week of so and alternate with gently moisurising shampoo on other days.

Since Jan1 or so, I have been using nizoral 3x a week, and thickening shampoos on the other days. Sometimes I have mixed the nizoral with the thickening shampoos. I have nizoral from United Pharmacies.

That being said, last week my wife said my hair looked dry. I started using conditioner for the first time in like four years. I was worried it would look crappy, but actually it looks really good. I use an amount similar to like a Tic-Tac, like a pushpin head... know what I mean? I leave it in for five minutes and then rinse.

I cannot skip washing my hair, it looks bad.

I use dermmatch so I gotta wash my hair twice a day.. Once in the morning before I go to work and the other when I come home.. In the morning I use baby shampoo since its ph neutral and probably wont do any damage besides clean my scalp, while at night I use pantene to wash out the wax and dermmatch... I also use nizoral twice a week...

I've read from various posts that washing your hair twice daily wont make you lose more hair and the worst case senario would be that your hair just dries out..
