Yeah, it was below the belt! Carra has to try and say the worst. Same with the Leicester player. It’s because he’s took so much stick when he first started with Liverpool.

"The Leicester player?" Do you mean Robbie Savage? He's awful and nobody likes him. Don't know why he's on TV at all.

you say that like it's an accepted treatment? does it work to regrow hair? any clinic recommendations? most places that offer it seem to come sounding a bit scammy

Accepted, no.

It is not accepted because the price is way too high for the results it gives. Does not mean it is not beneficial. Esp. when it is not just prp and they add something like a growth factor cocktail which is mostly the case. If you are rich as f***, then you get it done monthly for an extended amount of time until you got the results, and there will be some. The problem is, after getting results you still have to re-do it from time to time, to keep the current status. In this way, it is out of question even for most above avg. incomes.

There are some womans who have success with it, but woman hair loss is usually a more fragile thing.

It can temporarily halt hair loss and thicken hair, but the effects wear off after 1-3 months. It is not a sustainable method of treatment and even those who can afford getting them at regular intervals will not experience any significant positive effects. There is an alternative which combines PRP with Cellular Matrix, netting substantially better results and requires only one visit every couple of years. The downside is that it's almost as expensive as a hair transplant. With all this being said, Finasteride is a better hair loss treatment than PRP.

Forget the money, the web seems to be full of anecdotes of accelerated hair loss or shock loss as a result of PRP. This doesn't even make the 'got nothing to lose' grade as far as alternative treatments go. I would definitely go for it if it thicken my hair and kicked some life into miniaturising follicles.
