contrary to what you might think, i don't walk around taking it out on anyone, im respectful towards others unless insulted and abused first. but there's definitely fear inside that's not even subconscious anymore and stems from aforementioned experiences. when you've been pointed at as what they perceive as abnormality for the umpteenth time there's a certain desire to lash out or even to take vengeance. im still kind of unapologetic, this is as soft as i can go.:ninja:

No, these problems are deeper. Usually when people get their "quick fix" they obsess about another aspect of their life they deem crippling. You have to tackle the source which is your thinking.

Dr.House brought BDD to my attention a few months ago and it resonated with me. Since then I've been able to realize it for what it is and confront it with reality. In case you don't know, it stands for Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I don't have an extreme case but I did fit a few of the criteria.
