A moderately higher chance of similar side effects than compared with finasteride. For results, if you go by the studies you can expect to at least halt your hair loss and maybe grow some, even a lot if you are very lucky. At the same time though there are lots of horror stories of dutasteride destroying peoples hair, its all anecdotal but I believe it's true as it happened to me on finasteride.
