What are the chances that finasteride is going to work

I have been taking Fincar from inhouse pharmacy for 6 months now and my hair has only got worse. Its progressing at the same speed it was before Fincar. This is so frustrating becuase all the time i have been taking it i am telling myself that my hair is getting better when it is clearly getting worse.

This probably means that the Fincar is fake or that i have literally not reacted to finasteride at all. This is why i want people's thoughts on the chances of finasteride actually working.

Does anyone think i should move to proscar?
Anyone think i should plus in Min?

^^^^ These are all i can think of.
God hair loss is such a mofo. Do anyone of you guys walk down the street checking out how bad bald guys look? Its so hard to find a person that actually suits it lol

I"ve heard only good things about inhouse and their fincar. Who knows though, i guess there is always a possibility that what you are getting isn't legit...you can never really know when you are buying you pharms from internet companies overseas. Maybe you can try and get a prescription to proscar so that you know you are getting the right stuff. Also, if you have insurance you can get it for a lot cheaper. When I had insurance I was getting the generic equivalent of proscar at 15 dollars for like a 4 months supply. 6 months is also too early to tell whether or not it has been working for you. What you think is your male pattern baldness progressing could just be a shed and more hair may be on the way. I didn't really start to see much of an effect until I was about a year in.

Solomon, 6 months is not long enough to make any rash judgements. The real success stories I've seen with finasteride have reported results past the 1 year mark, even 2 years, so you need some patience my friend.

Inhouse should be legit all the way.

Are you using Nizoral as well? This could help in combination with finasteride.

I got great results from Proscar(plus a lot of other crap) from Inhouse and I'd bet money your's is legit. Some
people do not respond as well or as quickly as others and I really think the combo of the big three has
something to do with my results. I'd get on the big 3 or 4 (finasteride/nizoral/minoxidil/Retin-A) before you give up finasteride
and give it another year. I've read a lot of guys kicking in at 18 months or so and I'm hoping for more
results.

BTW Proscar is the same drug as finasteride... but normally people take 1.25mg compared to 1mg finasteride by
cutting the pill into forths.

If you think you could put up with min, I would add it in anyways for more regrowth. The only thing that is stopping me is dreading sticking with it twice a day for the rest of my life. Nizoral shampoo is the logical middle ground. It really helps out with finasteride and is simple to apply since all you have to do is wash your hair with it a few times a week or less.

After about 3-6 months of use my hair was hell. (<- To me that means "definatly visible thinning if I dont fix it in the morning").
Then it was "ok" for a month or so. After nine months its baseline and maybe some improvement around vertex and top. Also, maybe a tiny bit worse in the front since baseline.. Maybe.. Dunno really. All I know is my hair looks ok and is improving. Chanses would be atleast 9/10 that its finasterides doing.

In other words... <1 year says nada.

Also, finasterid works on most people. Some say 4/5, Id more like quesstimate 9/10 for any kind of work and 4/5 for actually noticable slowdown and/or improvement.
