as you can see not every black guy can fit a shaved look. i don't think he would look good with a shaved head. maybe he cud do with cutting it short though. it looks kind of weird. idk his age but id guess like 17-20

also a funny side note, this guy used to kinda bully me in high school but now he is receding. he is my age, so 21 and is wearing hats for the past 5 months pictures, so he might have progress. but this is him back in march. what would his norwood be?

That black kid is not norwood 4. More like 2a.

That guy you used to bully is like norwood 2.5 or somewhere around there.

The first guy is not NW4, dude! Is it at MOST NW2, he seems to have a naturally big forehead, but not much hair loss.
Second one, Norwood 2, something diffuse.

Why are you posting pictures of people from facebook to this forum? That's not right. You haven't asked their permission and it's an invasion of privacy. On top of that I'm able to extract the full names of both of the people and their locations from the pictures. I'd take them down if I was you.

Actually, from the Facebook terms:

When you publish content or information using the Public setting, it means that you are allowing everyone, including people off of Facebook, to access and use that information, and to associate it with you (i.e., your name and profile picture).

Source: 2.4 at https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms

So technically it's not an invasion of privacy. It might be a moral issue to discuss though.

I thought it was implied that the invasion of privacy was from a moral point of view. There's nothing to discuss. How would you like it if someone put pictures of you up? Do you think if I made the people aware, which I easily can since I have their fb profiles now, that they would be okay with this? (I obviously would not do that, just telling you to think from their viewpoint)

I thought you meant from a legal point of view.

If people are not aware of the implications of sharing their content publicly, it's their problem. All my content is private except from my profile picture, which I don't mind being shared, that's why I set it as public.

If you told those people maybe they'd learn a lesson. A girl in my FB posted pictures of her IDs and other documentation some months ago, which is even dangerous.

I agree. In any other circumstance I wouldn't give a fvck but when it comes to posting a picture of a balding man from your facebook onto a public hair loss forum and discussing his hair loss I just feel that we of all people should be more respectful and show more class. These guys are also going through this nightmare and imagine if they came across their images and hair loss displayed for everyone to discuss. Imagine if he reads OP write about how he wouldn't look good with a shaved head (which I disagree for the record).

Do I for example care when the 4chan guys rip on fat girls when they post their pictures on social media like twitter or insta? No. For a number of reasons. These attention seeking fat whales post their pictures explicitly for the world to see how they are okay with being fat (fat acceptance). This is opposed to a regular guy with hair loss who posts a profile picture of himself on facebook (as we all do) and can not even imagine that he has a friend who is part of a hair loss forum who will post his pictures on a public hair loss platform.

If OP felt that he absolutely had to post this thread then at the least he could have blurred out their faces to hide their identities and more importantly not directly linked from their facebook pictures. Is this legally necessary? No. Is it courteous and an empathetic action towards a fellow balding man? Yes.

First guy is a NW1 with a naturally massive forehead and the second is a standard nw2-2.5.

Totally agree. I was just arguing from a legal point of view; the fact that it doesn't constitute an invasion of privacy if the content is shared as public.

But other than that I agree that their identities could have been protected at least from an empathetic point of view, even if unnecessary, and even if OP is technically not doing anything wrong.

Is there any particular reason you want to know these things? I honestly don't care about any of my high school dick headed bullies, the hell with those guys.

I guess God is punishing him now.

Seriously now, bullying is no joke. I suffered A LOT in high school and even today I have to endure a lot of crap at work.
