What can be done at Hair Replacement Centers

First of all Im 23, and on the Big 3 for about 9 months. Im not really thinking hair transplant is a good idea for me, but Ive always been curious about what they would tell me if I went for a consultation at a Bosley center or some kind of hair club. Do the alternatives they offer such as the laser treatments work? What else might I find out if I went there?

Laser is not FDA approved, so stay away. Don't go to those rip off shops. They'll try to brainwash you.

Basically, your two options are (1) the big three treatments or (2) hair transplant later on down the road.

A transplant has two varities:

A more invasive procedure wherein the surgeon cuts a chunk out of the back of your head, hair and all (the euphemism for this method is "removing a donor strip"), and replaces the hair taken from the back or side onto your scalp, and then they stitch your head up. (yeah, the first time I read that sh*t, I said no f**king way as well)

Surgeon removes one hair at a time, leaving less of a scar (though there is still scarring). The individual follicles are again removed and reinserted into your scalp, where they grow normally (more or less).

yeah, i figure if I go in there, they would tell me what already know---Im going bald, take propecia and rogaine and pay them a ton of money. Just wanted to know if what goes on there
