What do people rotate with Nizoral?

I'm just wondering what everyone uses on the days they aren't applying any Nizoral? I've heard Nutrogena T-Sal works pretty well.

there is a european piroctame olamine shampoo that is good. I also recommend getting a shampoo with salicyclic acid and putting spironolactone in it. Then also add apple poly some other cheap, gentle shampoo like MooGoo or some other capric glucoside shampoos. You can also rotate NANO in, but I think I'll save money and put my own SOD and minoxidil in a shampoo and skip the nano. I also add a few drops of Rosemary essential oil to some of my shampoos. I would not do anything to the nizoral, though, since you don't want to play with the proven stuff. Separate the experimental from the proven.

CCS, where are you getting that MooGoo stuff? It's an Aussie product, right? Their website seems pretty amateurish and I can't even find a price list, leave alone international shipping info.

I rotate with Neutrogena T-gel, it contains Piroctone Olamine

How much is it? Where do you get it? I want to buy it, but not for $28. I heard only the european one has piroctone olamine.

I don't understand Neutrogena T-gel ... when I see it in the shop there's about 10 different varieties of it, which one does everyone use?

Damn, isn't that a bit much for you're hair? Do you have a really oily scalp and greasy oily hair? Because if you do, I would understand shampooing everyday. But 2-3 times a day? I think thats a bit harsh. You're hair is prone to breakage and destroying the hydrogen bonds when the hair is wet. Maybe you're hair needs 3x a day. All up to you.

I only use nizoral on mondays and fridays now.

2x a week seems fine.

also, hair tomorrow, how many drops of TTO do you put into your shampoo. Do you find that it is good for your scalp.

I am trying to address some scalp issues that I have.

I don't know the exact name, because I am not in the UK but I think it is T/gel for greasy hair, the green one. Anyway check the ingredients for piroctone olamine. I think it contains salycilic acid and piroctone olamine, but you want it for the piroctone olamine.

You can also try to buy any other shampoo that contains piroctone olamine. They should be readily available in Europe but they are a pain the *** to get in North America.

Here, this is the one. http://www.expresschemist.co.uk/hugepicpopup.jsp?pageid=3656&slotindex=&picindex=1&scope=0

My scalp didn't dig that one very much for some reason. Right now I'm using a mild finnish shampoo called Sebamed, it has got Ph 5,5 and piroctone olamine. My scalp hasn't been severely inflamed for some time, which I'm happy for.

Wow you guys are using shampoos that I've never even heard about.

I use nizoral 2% twice a week, Neutrogena(the regular one) once a week and head&shoulders once a week.

I'd like to replace the head&shoulders by something else, maybe T-gel?

the head and shoulders is not helping you at all. I heard somewhere that the selenium one might compliment nizoral a bit, but is no where near as strong.

herbal essence "body envy".

it makes my hair thicker than any other shampoo i've tried.

Another vote for that shampoo. It was on sale so I picked it up. It really does make my thinning in the crown somewhat less noticeable.

Isn't that a little too much for the scalp though? A strong shampoo like Nizoral being rotated with another strong shampoo?
