What does Finansterid/propecia cost in your country/state?

Here is the official link to Costco showing $39 for 100 pills of of 1mg finasteride generic. The manufacturer is Camber Pharma. Does anyone have experience with this generic brand?

I was on Merck Propecia for approx 15 years with great results. Switched to Dr Reddy's and was not sure it was working as well. Now switched to Camber and seeing visible hair loss. I thought once the generics were availabel that Merck would reduce their price but their price for brand name seems to have barely moved. I may need to try another generic

Just wanted to revive this old thread for the guys that want to get there finasteride from a local pharmacy instead of over the internet.

I just came from the Target Pharmacy(in Target retail store) and asked for the price of finasteride. They told me $82.99 for generic, $104.99 for Propecia. A year ago it was $67.99 for generic, and $75 for Propecia. Not sure why the price has gone up, but I will not be getting it from there.

Last week I checked the price at the Costco Pharmacy(in Costco wholesale store). I only got the cost of generic finasteride which was $8.11.

I will call tomorrow and check the price at Walgreens and Walmart if they give me the info over the phone I will post it here to help guys out that are looking for the best price on finasteride.

If anybody else wants to add where they get their finasteride and the price please update this thread.

Also if anybody has any experience with these generics if they could chime in that would be great. I used Dr. Reddys, but only for a month before switching to Fincar from Inhouse, so not sure how good Dr Reddys finasteride is.

Here in Europe it costs around (if not over) a $100 for a month's supply, ridiculous. But this is brand name Propecia.

I'm in Toronto, Canada. I got 30pills/Generic (made by Pharmascience) from scarborough town center Walmart for $25. I went to a Walmart closer to my house and they wanted $45 for generic / $70 for Propecia. Shoppers Drug Mart: Generics(30pills) $51 / Propecia(30pills) $100.

Well I'm in Alberta, Canada and I got 25 pills of 5mg generic Finasteride for $25 at Superstore's pharmacy. Cutting them into 4 or 5 pieces and I'm paying $25 for 100-125 days. Pretty cheap IMO.

NYC and it costs me 25 bucks for 90 pills at Costco. So about 100 bucks for an entire year of generic 1mg finasteride.
