This is mainly aimed to guys who are married or living with their girlfriends but others are free to respond as well:

What does your better half think about you using hair products such as Finasteride, minoxidil, etc?

not me!

Pfft, my 21 year old girlfriend knows I had a transplant and knows that I use Minoxidil and Dutasteride. She couldn't give a sh*t less. I hate hiding sh*t. Hell, if she got fake boobs she wouldn't hide it from me so why (or HOW) can I hide my morning and before-bed regimen?

My wife thinks I'm whacked.

She also thinks I'm quite the catch - so what the hell does she know?

If I went to a Norwood 9 - it wouldn't bother her at all.

A direct quote from her from this spring when I was in my revivogen, folligen, xandrox15 before bed rotation:

"That crap you're putting on your head is ruining the pillows!"

The girl I've been dating for the past year and a half has no idea about my hairloss concerns. She has no idea that I had a hair transplant late last year. She does not know that I use minoxidil, Propecia, etc. She was running her fingers through my hair the other day, right where my donor scar is, and she did not suspect or feel a thing (no surprise, I can't hardly detect it myself). The whole time we've been dating, she's only made 1 comment about my thin hair and it was in the very beginning. I was telling her that I hated my hair and she asked why. I told her because it's so damn thin. She agreed but told me that it looked good anyways for what it is. I don't know if she really meant this or if she was just being nice. Either way, she's been my girlfriend ever since so I guess it doesn't bother her like it does me.

Yeah, i get that one as well about my minoxidil. I also get the following after she has "accidently touched my hair":

Yuck...I'm going to grow hair on my hands now!

She doesn't know I'm on finasteride yet. The reason why I haven't told her is that I bought it off the internet and she'd probably tell me that I might die taking pills bought on the net etc....so the game plan is for the treatment to work wonders and then tell her it's due to the minoxidil AND the finasteride pills i've been taking. She won't object then :)

Also, my other half was the one who actually got me on minoxidil in the first place after she saw an ad on tv an said "ohhh...you can try that".

been together forever though so whatever happens she won't desert me :)

Hair and Social,
You guys are both really really fortunate to have ladies like that. I'd keep 'em if I were you.

Mine doesn't care. She gets a kick out of my, as she puts it, "beauty shelf." :)

She even asks my advice on shampoo for her hair, we both use the same shampoo now...except Nizoral of course.

Well, that tells you how undetectable my hair transplant was!! But I had to make up a story about why I was gone from work for a whole week. So I told her that I was going out of town to visit my dad. I feel bad about lying to her, but that tells you how insecure I am about my hairloss situation. To this very day, she has no idea about it, and I hope to keep it that way.

I have a stunning girlfriend who absolutely adores me and couldn't care less if I lost every hair on my head. SHe knows I use minoxidil and finasteride, too.

I got lucky.

Been dating a quite a few girls off and on since my hairloss started.. none of them said a thing... and the girl that im with for 9 months doesnt even have an idea really.. but i ask her "would u still love me if i was bald"
and shes like oh ofcourse, i love you for you...

if I heard the opposite, then she's not worth it.

Well i'm just now hitting the 6 month mark, so the results are just starting to show. On top of that, my hair used to be really short, so most people are under the impression that my hair looks different because I'm letting it grow out. This is exactly how I wanted it to be. Gradual improvement instead of a radical change overnight.
