What Is Considered To Be Normal Hair Shedding?

Shedding from the top of the scalp is normal. However, is shedding hairs from the sides and back of the head (below crown, above nape) also normal and considered part of the "50-150" hairs shed daily? I have diffuse thinning on my scalp. Just hoping I don't have DUPA...

I've heard "100-200 hairs daily" from various sources, but that seems very high to me. I'd also imagine healthy hairs shed evenly across the scalp. I can yank out 1-3 hairs from my top section with minimal friction, whereas I'd have to pull hard as hell from my donor zone to even see one hair come out.
