I have been using Tricomin (the blue copper pepetide spray) becuase I have ALOT of these baby white vellus hairs where I wanted real thick black hair to be.

Is THERE any other products that help?

Some say Folligen and maybe emu oil after can do this,

I use hair signals and emu oil, pretty much same thang. Very slowly some vellus getting hints of colour and a tad thicker, hopefully it keeps going but im quite impatient.

Hair Signals stains my skin to the point it's very hard to wash it off in the shower. It leaves bad stains.
I don't notice any improvement from Hair Signals so far and I've been using it since December 2009.

Tricomin seems to help. It won't regrow hair, but it will darken it and make it appear a little thicker. Of course, so would a nice dye............

The evidence behind emu oil is severely lacking, so use at your own risk. For me emu oil did nothing and even seemed to irritate the scalp.

Retinoid creams such as retin-a might do the trick, however. See this post for example:

Topical Retinoids Increase Hair Growth in Most People

According to the authors, the hair growth may be due to increased cell proliferation and differentation and the generation of new blood vessels. Another paper that appeared a few years later also speculates on how retinoids might cause hair growth (link). The authors of this paper suggest that certain retinoids increase the rate of hair of hair growth, prolong the anagen phase, and help convert vellus hairs to terminal hairs.

You can order retinoids from alldaychemist.com for very cheap without a prescription, but you can also try retinol, which is prescription-free. I noticed new hairs from using a retinol cream, even though that was not my goal.

I like this thread, but i think a product that did what oyur asking really well would be close to a cure, because even norwood 6's etc still have fine vellus hair on there scalp dont they?

Really have you used Folligen? because i have both folligen and HS and i find HS far easier to wash out/ not look like the hulk as rubs in and blends far better

I use 0.025 retin a from lee and hardly get any irritation or much peeling (i apply every 2nd day wen i get home)

Maybe i should step up to 0.05??

I am noticing my minoxidil hairs doing the same thing. Using Hair Signals (1 to 1 ratio)and Nizoral which are both said to do just that. They are slowly getting thicker so maybe in a year they will be what a normal hair looks like. Also i just started emu oil this week.

I noticed results from retina-a when my scalp would turn slightly read from retina-a. i was using a strong dose of retina-a

i think i want to try folligen -- it seems like it might be better than triconmin
