thats not male pattern baldness cause look his Sides are thin as well male pattern baldness hairloss the sides dont show scalp that much like that! your not supposed to lose your side and back.

This is Telogen Effluvium and diffuse thinning I am not a doctor but its def another form of Alopecia other then male pattern baldness like others said check with your Doctor.

maybe you really have anxiety problems or stress out alot? that could be a cause too, or medical like thyroidism

I actually decided to buzz it, damn its quite a shock when you see it for the first time! I went with a 3 on the sides, 4 on the top. The vertex is really thin and im gonna go a little longer and see if that helps at all, and hopefully in a couple months finasteride will thicken up my hair a little, any bit will help!

Why dont you try buzzing it down further? Maybe a 1 or a 2, would probably look better as you have alot of hair but its just very thin, your hairline still looks intact so I think it would look better as stuble i.e. #0
