What Kinda Shampoo/Conditioner...

Do you gals use? Ever since my hair loss problem, my hair has gotten extremely dry and nasty at the ends and I need a very strong conditioning shampoo and conditioner.

So far the one that's worked the best for me is called Hemp Seed Deep Conditioner by Alterna. Unfortunately it is quite expensive for my college budget!

What can you guys suggest?

I'd be willing to save up and pay a little extra, as long as it's worth it.

I have not had any luck whatsoever with Aussie Brand 3 Minute Miracle reconstructing conditioner, before anyone mentions it, as I know it is very popular too.

Right now I'm using a hot oil treatment once a week and it's helpful but I want something for everyday usage.

Thanks,

Laura :)

Hi, Laura.
Well, I admit I'm one of those shampoo-switchers! I am always trying different things.
I, of course, use Nizoral 3 x a week.
I also use Thicker Fuller Hair Shampoo and I've just started using Avalon Organics Biotin Complex shampoo. Neither one of them has a great oo la la scent but they aren't nasty stinky mediciny shampoos either. Both seem to cleanse well without drying my hair too much.
As far as conditioner, it's usually something drugstore cheap like suave, etc. but I only use conditioner on the very ends of my hair. My hair is very thin but also very fine textured so a lot of conditioner weighs it down.
Once a week I use a hair mask by Yves Rocher. leaves the hair baby soft and has a nice scent to it.
Hope this gives you some ideas :)

Hi Laura

I really like to use Jason's Biotin Shampoo and conditioner. It actually feels kinda tingling on your scalp, and makes your scalp feel rejuvinated. They also make other hair products if you want to do some browsing. If you just do a search on Jason's Shampoos, you should be able to find it pretty quickly.

Talk 2 U soon,
Jenn

Thank you both! Appreciate it.

If you gals get a chance and want a good thickening/volumizing shampoo, try Amplify by Matrix. I like it. But you can only buy it from salons or beauty supply stores, therefore its kinda expensive. But the good thing about getting it from places like that is you can return it if you dislike the product. :)

I'll look into the Jason one and the Avalon brand. I can buy both from Whole Foods across the street I believe, thanks!
