New to the forum...I already buzz my hair extremely short, but I am pretty sure I am well into male pattern baldness. Just wanted to get a handle on how far gone it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Norwood 4. If you get on treatments like finasteride and minoxidil you could probably save that hair and regrow some too.

I'm probably not going to attempt to save it with minoxidil or anything like that...do I still have enough to where I can keep wearing it really short, or should I just shave?

Up to you, it will look pretty much the same at this point.

Well there's the answer, haha! For some reason it seems like there's such a huge difference between those two things, but I guess that's all mental
You could get SMP ( Scalp Micro Pigmentation ) that would give you the illusion of a full head of hair but as if you are choosing to shave. Here is an example.

I'd keep it the way it is. There isn't much difference between those two options. I'll buzz my hair until it's so noticeable that shaving is the best option.

Welcome to the bald side of life!

I didn't even know that website. It's just a question of feeling good with your hair or lack thereof: Some people need hair and take treatments or other things to be happy and feel good and some other doesn't. I don't need hair to feel OK and I try to encourage people to be happy with what nature gave them. If they aren't... it's OK, go ahead and do what makes you feel good.

I posted there a while back, but like a lot of these folks mentioned, those guys think everyone should shave their heads. Was hoping to get some honest feedback from another source. I shaved my head bald for a little while, but started to wonder if I was doing so prematurely.

My theory is: Do what makes you feel good as long as you don't hurt anyone. I don't like either talibans of shaving or talibans of treatments.

I don't think you buzzed too early.
