New to the forum...I already buzz my hair extremely short, but I am pretty sure I am well into male pattern baldness. Just wanted to get a handle on how far gone it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a stupid question but have you actually tried growing it out recently just to see if it does look as bad as you fear? If you haven't I'd advise you to. The thing is your baldness is always much more apparent when you have your hair really short (no coverage ect) and unless you try you won't really know. It may not look as bad as you think but if it does then shave it!

I still see that as a really short haircut, however, you already look a lot less "bald" compared to the original pictures. I'm not promising anything but there's definitely something to work with if you grew it longer. Up to you......
