When I see another balding man walking down the street, what are the odds he's on treatment? Do most people just let their hair loss run its course?
I’d agree that it’s not a lot. A decent amount have heard of minoxidil but not finasteride.
My cousin still thinks he’s going bald because he wears hats.
I'd say about 1 in 10. Most of the people on treatments are young people with early onset male pattern baldness that have quick access to the internet. By age 30 about 30% of men are balding and by 50 its about 1 in 2 men are balding. A lot of guys don't care, especially since these people usually bald later in life. I've been balding since 14 and on treatments since 19. No success yet but I'm staying hopeful. When I see another balding man walking down the street, what are the odds he's on treatment?
