Is there anything else that treats male pattern baldness or at least makes hair look thicker?

there is no any shampoo which will totally stop hair loss. it's the matter of whether which kind of chemicals in the versus the nutrients in the ingredients. i would suggest Avalon Organics Biotin B-Complex Thickening Shampoo. Read my page.

I'm interested in this as well :) I would imagine the key thing is just getting nutrients and possibly even something stimulatory into those hair follicles! So then even when they're not being protected from some of the harmful effects of DHT by Ket, they're being reinforced and encouraged to grow!

Hmm! :)

Speaking about shampoos that make your hair look thicker, did anybody else noticed that after you use Nizoral your hair looks much thicker for a little bit? I wonder if it's only me.

im not sure, my hair is fairly longish, and nizoral seems to dry it out slightly compared to other shampoos, thinking of rinsing it after with water mixed with a small amount of olive oil

dryness with nizoral is very common. i used to mix few drops of olive oil with nizoral and lather on my palm. but i noticed with the presence of oil, i would need to squirt more shampoo to wash. it's the normal equation that the more oily your head, the more detergent you need.

now i substituted the oil with conditioner. i only use conditioner when i use nizoral. on the day off nizoral, i'll skip conditioner.

you should always use a hydrating conditioner after Nizoral.

And I use Aveda Pure Abundance shampoo on my off days...amazing cosmetic effect,

Why don't you just use nizoral daily?

in my country, nizoral is way too expensive compared to avalon. besides that, it will make my hair very dry after every use

All that's needed for what?

For dandruff control 2x week may be OK, for treating male pattern baldness more frequent application is probably better. Like any other topical treatment daily application is probably the best option, the only reason people don't use Nizoral daily is due to the drying effect on hair.

I'm curious why you use both Revita and Nizoral. I thought Revita had the 1% keto as well as other things good for hair. Maybe someone can explain the benefit of 1% Nizoral over Revita.
