What to add to the Big 3 after 3 years. I had ACELL/PRP 4 months ago. I'm 36, diffused NW2.5 or 3
1. dutasteride
2. H&W finasteride topical potion
3. LLLT
4. ACELL/PRP
5. Kerastem technology. I really don't think this is an option sense I have not see any results. It's up there with ACELL/PRP and LLLT
6. Hair transplant - had quotes from 800-2000 from 2 different dr.s. 2000 grafts was for a more aggressive hairline. I'm not a fan of that aggressive Hairline.

Any input would be great. PM and I post those thoughts so people don't know who you are.

Thanks again everyone!

If you have not had side effects, switching to dutasteride should help you.

No sides. I'm not a fan of drugs but all drugs have a risk just like the risk of doing nothing.

Based on what I've read on the forum, switching from finasteride to dutasteride or ordering RU58851 off the black market is the next best thing for you.

PRP and LLLT are considered scams.

1. dutasteride

An option when you had no sides with finasteride so far and are not happy with the current results

2. H&W finasteride topical potion

Hasson & Wong's stuff? Is that one even FDA approved?

3. LLLT

Scam.

4. ACELL/PRP

Pretty much a scam as well. How should injecting your own blood have a long term effect on anything?

5. Kerastem technology. I really don't think this is an option sense I have not see any results. It's up there with ACELL/PRP and LLLT

Seems like garbage as well. TRX2 seems to be more trustworthy than that stuff.

6. Hair transplant - had quotes from 800-2000 from 2 different dr.s. 2000 grafts was for a more

Still the most solid thing to do

I agree with the other posters. At this point in time, the best option is to switch to dutasteride and maybe also look into adding RU-58841. Better treatments should come along soon, but right now, dutasteride is our most powerful option.

It is pointless to use topical finasteride rather than oral finasteride, because finasteride is only able to work by going systemic. In order for topical finasteride to work, it has to go into your bloodstream in order to make its way to the dermal papillae of your hair follicles. It therefore has side-effects like oral finasteride. I also see no reason to assume that topical finasteride is any more effective than oral finasteride either. My guess would be that it is less effective.

Getting on Dutasteride will be the best option and maybe adding a little bit of RU58841, your hair should maintain very well on those two treatments. A hair transplant is also an option if it's for you, and have your hairline repaired.
