Hi folks,
I am watching the forums for a little bit..a little bit about me..

I've had a hair piece for a number of years - I would say almost 20 years..I started to lose my hair in my mid twenties but when it started going it it went quick..anyway at the time I didn't know anything else so I got a hair piece..

In the last year or so I am really getting frustrated with this rug..sometimes it looks great other times not so much..my closest friends know I have it and some others who are close that I haven't told but I suspect they know or at least I would know if I were them.

Anyway I trying to get more active now then before..I'm 45 and have gained so weight so I am working it off slowly :sobbing:

Now I am really getting sick of this thing..some days it looks good, other days not so good..I am getting really conscience that in the wind it does show..in the last year I investigated a hair transplant BUT I am just not sure how it will turn out..something I am considering is a finasteride-stride or Rogaine or something like that..however I feel it may be too late for those to help me..

I am basically ok with a Jason Statham look (if I can get the body first) - I don't need to have a full head of hair but more shaved..
Shaved heads are in these days as long as your are fit..I've seen some guys and they look pretty good..in fact I feel like they look better than a guy with a noticeable hair piece..ok ok most times it looks good but there are some days where I wanna take it off and :firing::firing:
I don't want the full "chrome dome" look - sorry guys:uglylol:

I have attached pics..do think I could regrow some hair to give me that look using Rogaine/Finstride?
Bear in mind that I shave my hear with a razor to get my piece to stick properly..that's about a weeks growth..

Am I'm stuck in the either a Chrome Dome or a Hair Piece??

Your comments and thoughts are appreciated..

too late for Finasteride or Rogaine I'm afraid

hair piece/system technology has come on a long way I believe, so it's well worth researching - you may be able to find a very natural looking piece

You've receded so much that rogaine/finasteride wouldn't bring it back to any worthy state. You could sit here and spend hundreds on regrowth products that may, at best, give you very subtle results.

It looks like you have great donors for a transplant if you go that route. If I were you, I'd find a hair restoration clinic near you. A good clinic will offer free consultations and will talk with you on all options available.

I''m not being mean or even hating on anyone who is bald, but man it is horrific what male pattern baldness can do to a persons appearance.
As everyone else has said; get a hair system, I don't think the big three or a hair transplant will do anything for you.

A grim glimpse into what will basically be my future.
Maybe post around on the Hair Transplant forums and see what any of the doctors say about the state of your hair and what they could do, hell you never know!!!
(that's not part of this website)
