ive been on finasteride minoxidil, and nizoral for about a year now. I had very good results, and im hoping in the next year for more. Was wondering i want to be fuller on the crown and near the hairline. What could i add or replace to get better results?

Am guessing from your question that you're not looking for something to actually thicken your hair, ie grow more, but something to give the cosmetic effect of thicker hair.

I've been thinning in the crown for the past couple of years - quite noticeably over the last 6 months or so. Alongside treatments, just got some toppik the other day - it works ridiculously well at filling in thinning on the crown. I know its not a "cure", but it's totally filled in my thinning patch and, even with a couple of powerful mirrors, it's very hard to detect... Good for day to day confidence, and keeps the "haha you're going bald" jokes at bay, which is always appreciated!

Good luck....

actually yes it was to actually grow more hair. I mean finasteride and minoxidil are working fine. But more hairs growing is what im looking for

Hi,

Now that you're on the "big three" as we love to call them here, you can add the "compliment" treatments (as I call them) - Try folligen lotion (the spray is the most concentrated of all the serires but is irritates the scalp like hell), and emu oil. I personally use the emu oil form http://www.folligen.com which is enriched with good stuff in it, but I guess plain emu oil should be just fine.

Also, consider using Eucapil. The big three work great. However, they aren't covering the androgen receptors aspect. Eucapil (and probabely Spironolactone) blocks the receptors near the hair follicle and hence won't let DHT to attach to them. By using Eucapil you will cover the problem from all directions: Propecia - to lower serum DHT, minoxidil - to stimulate regrowth, Nizoral - to lower scalp DHT and to improve scalp condition, Eucapil - to block the receptors

No matter what you choose to use, give it a year to fully judge the benefit, just like you did with the big three.

Good luck!
