what type of doctor should i see for finasteride?

Is it better to go to an internist or derm for getting a finasteride prescription? I plan on making an appt this week so I want to get the best information from whichever Doctor I see. Thanks in advance!

If it's cheaper to go to a GP go to them. I went to a Derm. when I first got prescriibed propecia a few years ago...all he did was glance at my hair...gave me a pamphlet and wrote me the script.. It was a 45 minute wait for a 1 minute Derm. visit.

the only reason i suggest a derm is because some GPs dont know jack sh*t about finasteride
or that proscar and propecia are the same thing
