Yes it would be a very big shock for anyone in a relationship, but there is more to her reaction than just shock. Without hair, he is discusting to her. She wont let him touch her, and she even began to cry lol. She may have been unaware, but her boyfriend's appearance is very important to her and their relationship. I would have expected any girlfriend to be shocked, call him an idiot, and even be annoyed with him, but her reaction was more than that.

Nothing wrong with that shaved look, least he has a hairline/shaved look.
Mine is shiny on the top with NO hairline and normally a horseshoe look.

Anyway some women/men like the bald look, others hate it.
In my experiences women/men(yes I'm bi) below their late 20's are the most shallow,are the ones who reject me alot or said mean things about how I look.

Theres a big difference between your partner going bald and finally shaving versus your nw1 partner appearing slick bald infront of you suddenly as a joke. This doesnt relate to hair loss at all in my opinion. Of course she was shocked and annoyed. If your girlfirend one day came into you and and was laughing and had shaved big line down centre of her head you wouldnt be happy either. This is BS..

I get what you mean, but I wouldn't consider him a Norwood 1. Definitely doesn't need to shave his head by any means though. I have similar temple shape to him.

Big difference between a shaved head and a awful shiny bald head.

Especially in my case, bald head is shiny and lacks any hairline to frame my face so I look like sh*t. And makes my forehead/head look HUGE.
Shaved head as in shaved with clippers on no1 or no guard, frames face, and has stubble/buzzed look.
