What Would Happen If You Took A Dht Inhibitor And An Estrogen Inhibitor At The Same Time?

What effects would this have on the body? Good? Bad? Im still developing so if i was to take finasteride, i would also want to stop excess estrogen, unless that's a bad idea. Thanks

In the short term this seems like a viable option, but decreasing estrogen has MANY MANY MANY more brutal side effects than finasteride has to offer. I've taken letro (without a dht inhibitor) and the sides make finasteride look like a piece of candy, no joke.

Chances are though, you wont need an AI on finasteride, unless you carry around alot of body fat and have endomorph type body.

EDIT: OP, look into DIM, basically converts the bad estrogens to good ones, i take this while on finasteride and dont have any noticeable side effects.

Thanks for the help. How long would you consider "short term", would it be a safe thing for 2-3 years? Also what is "AI"

Nah man, when I say short term I mean like 1-4 months max. These drugs weren't designed for men lol, they're used to treat breast cancer in women, and their off label use is to treat gyno symptoms. Aromatose Inhibitors (AI) works on estrogen throughout the whole body, then you have SERMS (selective estrogen receptor modulator) which do this locally. Overall I think its a very bad decision, and always try to talk to a Doctor and let them monitor you if you do decide to go this route, playing with estro isn't fun.

I've taken letrozole for 2-3 weeks (very low dose) Side effects were: nasty joint and bone aching all over the body, non-existent libido, absolutely no penis sensitivity (impossible to orgasm), seriously fast temple recession, non-stop coughing.

On the plus side when I was tapering off as I got some of my E back I was still riding the testosterone high and while taken pregnenolone the night before, the next day when all the preg went into T i had energy not unlike I was on roids. I went outside for a walk and came back doing interval sprints for 40 minutes. Unreal. Wish I felt like that every day. I probably could run something like that if I didn't have male pattern baldness, f*** me.

Sounds familiar. I had some of those sides before starting finasteride.
I'm not super interested in the in-and-out part of sex. I also had problems to orgasm at some point, though never a problem of getting and keeping a boner forever.

I'm curious if finasteride will normalise my estrogen levels.
