What Would Propecia Do For Me? Hairloss

Im currently 19 years old and have quite the receding hairline already. I’ve been receding since I turned 18 but much more noticeably over this past winter. Anyhow I was wondering what Propecia would do for me. Would it keep me at baseline for 5 years or just slow it down? I’m done growing and all that and will stop it if I get any sides that don’t go away. Dad started crown balding at 25 but incredibly slowly and moms side has no history. Here are some photos of my hairline and my hair in general. Btw I have been on rogaine for 2 and a half months now which seems to be making hairline hairs longer.

You can start finasteride but start with a small dose 0.25 and don’t go up for a few months . His way you can at least monitor sides if you are prone to them . You’ve got a solid head of hair dude - don’t worry.

I would'nt do anything but monitor it for a few years. You're okay for now, no sign of balding at all.

Yeah a little recession and thinning of the hairline obviously, but if you use propecia you will probably halt like it is for a long time

Minoxidil alone is not gonna do much long term, only 2-5 of effectiveness alone if you have agressive hairloss you need a dht blocker
