so finally got my girls camera so I can shoot some pics. Anyways, I just ordered a 3 month supply of regaine 5% as it was just on offer, so you guys think that will help me with my thinning hair or is my thinning to "advanced" already?

A few facts.

-I turned 23yr 3months ago
-I had "massive" hair loss when I was about 17yrs old, several months in a row until it just stopped, ever since then I did not experience anymore hair loss (thank god!), but unfortunately my the lost hair never grew back (properly), as you can see on the last picture i've got a lot of "baby hair", just about 1 - 2cm short and not really thick or dark at the hairline.
-I shaved my head bald then for the last 3 - 4 years and just let my hair grow back for the first time since then recently. Now I wanna face the thinning hair n do something about it.
-So my hairline is thin and the temples as well, if I comb my hair back in daylight you can actually see the the "whole" scalp (top only) till about 1/3 of my head
-I normally use gel or hairspray and comb my hair back, make it pretty flat so you can't see too much of that pale scalp but especially the "Widow's peak" annoys the hell out of me, can't stand the hair so thin on the sides.

Would any of you guys recommend using MGM in combination with Regaine? I just read a few topics about it and sounds like it helps grow back hair. Or should I try nizoral shampoo rather then MGM?

Any chance of getting this baby hair to grown back using regaine 5%? Is my hair too messed up already or is it good that the baby hair is there, can regaine make it grow normal n thick again? When using regaine, could I also hope that my hair gets thicker generally or will just the baby hair grow back (if at all)? Would really appreciate some feedback guys!

It's possible your hairloss has just stopped for good - who knows. But if you want to be sure that you won't lose anymore, get on Finasteride right away.

Rogaine should thicken your hairline back up again.

And use Nizoral shampoo too.

This is the "Big 3".

MGM is a supplement that (allegedly) accelerates hair/nail growth.

There are possible side effects to these treatments, so make sure you read up and are willing to take the risks (however slight).

cheers mate, I'll try regaine for a couple of months together with nizoral shampoo, not sure about finasteride, dont actually want to take a pill each day and also read about some side effects. Well my dad has also a widow peak's, higher up tho cause of age, but I hope I'll stay like that as well rather then a whole bald circle or something at the top like a monk, my dads front hairline is actually about same where mine starts, just the sides go higher up, could live with that but now as im young prefer to keep my hair thicker and regrown if possible.

you happen to know if the nizoral shampoo is that one from boots "nizoral dandruff shampoo", as I always saw people writing about something like nizoral 2%, so not quite sure if its the same one from boots they are talking about.

i'll get the MSM 1000mg tomorrow and see if they help.

woop, MSM makes your hair grow faster but it is not said to be growing hair alone.

Using Regaine you have a good chance that these baby hairs will turn terminal again. There are reports were people were successful even when they didn´t use Finasteride.

Good Luck!

hey .. soz for the delay in replying, it's a pain in the arse keeping track of your posts on this mental forum :)

in the UK, there are 2 brands: "Nizorelle" and "Nizoral".

"Nizorelle" is 1%
"Nizoral" (in a red coloured container) is 2%

I've found Nizorelle in Boots and Nizoral in Sainsburys. hope that helps..

1st question is always what history of male pattern baldness in your family? male pattern baldness is a genetic disease. You have hairloss no one will argue that. If you have history of it and hairloss bother you then I would use big 3. Propecia or something is needed id say.

Well if you loose like 100 more hairs from the hairline it's jacked then. I say that because I was at the same point once and I passed the tipping point and the temples became horrendous.
