Ok, im looking for some input about the order of balding.

I think it starts as a receding hairline for most and then if they do have crown thinning that will kick in.

so, if you have crown thinning please answer.

How receded was your hair before it started?

Did you not even have a receding hairline?

what age?

etc.

Im only have a slight receding hairline that is being held off without even using a anti androgen/dht inhibitor so i hope it wont turn into a crown issue also. Im hoping i dont have a strong gene is what i mean to convey.

It doesnt come in any particular order.

Sometimes you can have a thininng crown, vertex but n0t a receding hairline.

And Vice versa.. receding hairline but not a thining crown/vertex.

For me it was thinning crown/vertex. Hairline was fine.

I think in MOST cases it occurs as a receeding hairline followed by a thinning crown. But this doesn't mean that other types of hairloss aren't male pattern baldness, the zidane kinda thing, diffuse thinning etc. are all male pattern baldness also, to my knowledge.

How you getting on with tricomin follicle therapy spray? I just added it in on tuesday, I'm sitting here now with my head drenched in it lol.

theres no definate answer to this. it is totally random and varies massively in different people. u just got to be aware what to look for and catch it as early as possible. <5 years

I first noticed crown and vertex thinning when i was 24, while my teenage hairline was still intact. Diffuse thinning sucks since it's so hard to hide, but - to look on the bright site - it made me aware of my hairloss in an early stage. Unfortunately, after starting treatments my hairline started to recede as well. I guess my balding follows the Zidane pattern, although it doesn't advance that rapidly. Quite strange, because this kind of balding is mainly associated with mediterraean or semitic people. I am a fair skinned, blond Dutch guy. Those genes..

I think that persons with double cowlick in the crown are more prone to thinning hair in that area. According to my theory problems with sebum flow is the initial event in this multifactorial process. This two zones (frontal and crown) are more problematic because in the crown the scalp hairs are oriented in different angle and orientation and this hairs are difficulting that the sebum go away. The same approach with frontal hairs that don't touch with any adjacents hairs, mainly if the fringe is short. The idea is that sebaceous gland needs the fiber of hair shaft to be eliminated.

I noticed my crown thinning first while my hairline was great. I was 22. Then, after about a year, my hairline started to receede and thats when I started treatments.
