when should i give up min and nizoral

been using min and nizoral nearly 3 months my hairloss stopped 5 years ago im diffuse at the front in a n3a pattern,i dont have any regrowth yet ,its not maintaining because my hairloss halted years ago naturally ,and nearly all sucess stories see growth at 3 or 4 months,should i quit next month if i still have no gains,

i did not shed using min and nizoral
ps i used min and nizoral for 2 and a half months before and quit due to sides,but wanted to try again had no discotinue shed either,im usin 2 times a day with less wrinkling to my skin

I'm not sure if you are going to have any regrowth. minoxidil grows "baby hairs" everywhere it touches, but that doesn't mean they are going to turn into terminal hairs.

5 years of no hair is a long time, I don't think you have any follicles left that can successfully grow terminal hairs again.

Even if minoxidil is going to work for you, you would still have to give it at least 6 months. I used it for 7-8 months and I didn't have any cosmetic changes. I regrew a bit, but nothing noticeable to the outside world.

i have still lots of hair ,so i must use it for 6 months,ok just wondering why the minoxidil says ring a dr and quit at 4 months if no regrowth its confusing

I understand that you have lots of hair, but the problem is that you are trying to grow hair where you don't have any follicles left. I presume most of those follicles are dead, it's been 5 years since the last time you had hair there.

Minoxidil is a really strong drug, it will give you vellus hair everywhere it touches. However, it is very unlikely that those will turn into terminal hair.
