Where am I?

So i started finasteride almost a month ago. Was on here a little bit, got some mixed reviews so i got into a derm the next day and he saw mild recession and thinning. Not a huge change you guys would notice with the camera, but I've lost density and my temple area is way more smooth and receded some. Im using a kenz 1% with em oil and biotin all that crude in it shampoo, which i know does not do that much. Just wondering where I am at and where i would be in 6 months to a year if a good responder.. Should i add minoxidil or wait and see what happens to finasteride? Also, coming off a Telogen Effluvium shed after a crazy crucial time in my life in December plus i think a shed related to finasteride is going on too because hair is all over my bed now.
Also that part followed up by my crown i kind of made myself so you see if you notice any thinning.
Appreciate any feedback! IMG_1968.jpgIMG_1979.jpgIMG_1980.jpgIMG_1981.jpgIMG_1985.jpgIMG_1982.jpg

I know its early in the game and my plan was to catch it early seeing as my dad is completely bald and we have the exact same hair

Your hair looks confident! :)

Yes, your hair looks great, I do see some thinning but it doesn't look too bad at all. Definitely give Finasteride more time, at least six months, by then you should be maintaining well. Good respondents will start noting any positive changes usually by two months, one month isn't enough time. I recommend to wait and see what happens while on Finasteride since that'll be your main treatment for the long-term before getting on Minoxidil. However though, if you do well on Finasteride and hair maintenance is great, by then you can always add Minoxidil for any potential regrowth.

I appreciate it. I'm thinking close to NW2 diffuse kinda I'm just really trying to prevent or put off the inevitable. Also, there is a weird rumor going around beta-blockers increase hair loss anyone know about this or heard it? It's all over google of people kicking and screaming on how beta blockers ruined their hair. True or false

You're like a Norwood 2 max, aka no one would consider you balding. Hair looks great, best of luck on finasteride.
