Have you noticed how people just disappear from this forum?

The likely reason is that the regiment is working, the people who does not leave are not as sucessfull with their regiment.

This causes the users of this forum to be more skeptical to regiments such as propecia and rogaine.

Anybody agree with this observation ?

Personally i believe a lot of posters dissapear due to alien abduction.

I dont agree with your hypothesis really. Ive been succesful with my regimen yet still hang around because i believe the best way to stay informed to whats going on is to post regularly. Propecia and minoxidil work end of story, just not for 100% of users, but thats life.

Most posters leave because of pure bordem, lets face it talking about hairloss is pretty boring. Now we have chix floating in here now and again talking about there familys and husbands- ah who cares this is supposed to be an informational site. There are several posters here Axon, Bomb, Stingray, Bruce etc who just bring forth good information, lots of others just have useless banter and dumb topics. Lastly the same old sh*t keeps popping up time after time Saw Palmeto, Propecia, minoxidil etc... It does not take allot of time to learn everything about these products, so it gets repetitive.

Frustration, also who wants to be consoled by a chick on how a bald guy should approach girls, etc etc... I come here for info and when the info is not fresh or interesting I split. Who cares about Joe Millionare or Joe Schmoo or the Average Joe or any reality show for that matter- This site was invented for hairloss and hairloss help. Not casual socializing.

yeah, seriously, I agree with the hypothesis to some degree. But let's not ask the question anyhow. Let's just thank the guys that do stick around, no matter how infrequently, to remind us that these regimens do work, to whatever degree, even if it is just maintenance.

I got some nwe peach fuzz on my hairline and temples after just 1 month of 5% rogaine. Not gonna mention it yet on the rogaine thread, not until it turns out to be something worth mentioning. But 3.5 mo after propecia, and 1 mo after rogaine, and I'm happy- not shedding at all, really. The products and this site rock!!!

Good luck.

"Men's General Hair Loss Discussions" is for everything having to do with male pattern baldness.

"Men's Hair Loss Treatments" is just for treatments.

So you never stray off topic here?

As a rule I generally try not to post anything unless it has to do with hairloss and its treatment. So the answer is no I do not post off topic.

Nor do I play a freakin fiddle...

Well, you'd best not come to Scotia then. Only disappointment awaits. :( To be sure, there's always George Galloway. I hear tell he has a penchant for both national dress and foreign damsels. Shall we introduce Lentara to the "indefatigable" charms of Gorgeous Georgie, Zimmy?
