JJ Gittes said:Nizoral is distributed in Europe by Janssen Cilag under a different name. A few years ago when I was in Germany I emailed them and they gave me the name of the German version, which I have unfortunately forgotten. Es tut mir Leid.
You might email the company, however.

There's no comparison. Nizoral is a medicated shampoo with proven anti-inflammatory properties. Progaine shampoo is just like any other non-medicated, regular shampoo, that is sold under a similar brand name to take advantage of the brand reputation. Progaine is not part of any useful regimen.mr_sparkle said:I can't decide which is better - Nizoral shampoo or Pregaine shampoo (the one made by the makers of Regaine)...
Interesting! Health Canada lists that product with 3% salicylic acid, but how can we tell it has 2% Ketoconazole? Thanks!RomanFromFrance said:Another great (I mean GREAT) product is KERTYOL-S from Ducray Laboratories. it contains 2% ketoconazole and 3% salicilyc acid (as Dr'Lee's shampoo), and it's sold over the counter.
