When I google, all it returns are sites like alibaba etc. where you have to buy a tonne.

I understand that; but too little information - it is easy to add stuff to a standard minoxidil lotion, or to dilute it first and add stuff; or ask a pharmacy to make your formula or at least the basic vehicle. If you're lucky they will sell you the pure substance. Obviously you cannot buy it easily.Also you can make your topical without minoxidil and apply it separately from a standard minoxidil (recommended - because there arises the problem of stability of a solution of several substances). So, what's the point?
