Hey guys... i've given up on proscar after 2 weeks...
It's left me with pathetic erections and no sex drive, so even if i'm bald by the time i'm 22, at least I wont be impotant. I've tried keeping on the stuff, but its time to call it quits. I'd prefer to be safe now, than (oh the old cliche) to be sorry later.
So if anyone in the UK wants my proscar tablets - I have something like 35 tablets (x5 = 175 days!) - i'd be happy to sell them on pretty cheaply.
But does anyone know where I can buy spironolactone in the UK? This is my next step in the battle.
If someone can give me a site address that would be just dandy. Heh... Thanks a lot

Finasteride first inhibits binding of Testosterone and 5alpha. This initially results in a period of increased sex drive because there's extra testosterone floating around. Your body gets wind of it and starts underproducing testosterone as a result. Its a pendulum. This results in a couple weeks of absolutely zero sex drive. I remember it clearly. For the first time in my life I realized there was something other than girls around me. I heard birds chirping for the first time. I noticed little kids all around. I even saw dogs and cats and stuff. The girls just blended in. About three to four weeks later I was back to my old pathetic self because the body then overcompensates and reaches an equilibrium again. Bringing you basically back to where you should be libido-wise. No more doggies or chirping birds. Just girls everywhere.
