Which companies are currently selling lace or mono stock systems for immediate shipment?

My current supplier, HairHub in the UK, were supposed to deliver my first custom order last July and have still not delivered it. They've messed me round constantly and fobbed me off and now I'm sick and tired of it. I'm going to get my money back from my bank next week. I am going to order another stock system and I'd like to know which companies (anywhere in the world) are currently selling lace or mono stock systems for immediate shipment? I am not prepared to wait around, I just want to pay for a system and have it shipped to me right away (I live in the UK). I can do a custom order sometime in the future once the pandemic eases and this industry gets more back to normal.

I feel your pain. Same situation here (not with hairhub though) and have been promised 5-8 weeks for a system that takes 20 weeks.

Which company was that with (so I know who to avoid), and was it a stock or custom system?

So it looks like most companies now don't even have lace stock units. Some have ultra thin skin - what is that like?

Not breathable and very delicate, more so than lace.

Liner backing tape would have to be used with that to reduce the risk of tearing the base if tape is used.
Normally ultra thin skin suits glue better.

Liner backing tape

I hate using glue, except for the very front of the hairline. I currently use either 1 inch Supertape or Walker Ultra Hold Tape on my Swiss lace system, which is great and holds well for 2 - 3 weeks no problem:

Are you saying I wouldn't be able to use these with an ultra thin skin system? What is this 'liner backing tape' you mention?

It's doable... but you really run the risk of tearing the system. @yurguardianangel is correct.

Walker Sensi Tak or similar can be used as base tape.

Not true. John hasn’t had any lace stock units for months and is only getting occasional poly units from his supplier. Don’t pay attention to any vendors’ websites; most haven’t been updated since the Pandemic dried up the supply chain.
