what a strange head of hair

you have excellent density everywhere except the middle and front. Your crown looks damn near NW1 to me. You have great donor quality and thick hair texture

I would say you probably need around 3K grafts to fix the middle and front. That's basically slick bald

thanks alot. So what Dr would you rate as the best. I wear my hair on the back and sides as a blade 1 so would like an FUE and minimal scaring.

Get a non linear scar type of transplant and get it with a good doctor no matter the cost! This is a permanent procidure and u dont want to conpromise. you can and should use hair fibers before and after the transplant. I like Hairatin

Thanks for your comment. What Dr would you recommend. I want the best of the best as I have the finances now for the best.

interesting update!! So I went to see Harley Street Hair Clinic both the consultant and the Dr. They saw me with hair fibres and were confused where the hair loss was. So I washed my hair and then they could see the gap at the top and hairline. They said I DO NOT NEED A hair transplant JUST YET.

So with my pictures it is hard to see but I still have loads of small thin hairs where you see the gaps.

They said another 3-4 years once all the baby hair's in the gaps die off and the gaps get bigger then I should go for a hair transplant.

As HSHC from my pictures actually quoted me 2000 grafts originally but when they saw my hair upfront and the baby hairs in the gaps they said I should wait.

What do you guys think?

I think you should try adding dermarolling and dutasteride to your regime, or just use oral minoxidil and wound every couple of weeks. The top of your head when wet and combed forwards looks sorta like mine, but i also have crown loss. I just started dutasteride today, oral minoxidil for a few weeks and wounding every couple.

I never heard of Derma Rolling. What do you mean by wounding?

yes HSHC said my crown, back and side are thick and healthy. I would wait until I lose more hair.

UPDATE : So I saw Dr Wong of Hasson & Wong in London Yesterday.

They said 2500 FUE grafts and to move my hair line slightly back so they can dense pack.

$18,000 USD

Dr Wong was so nice and his example patient.... he had a strip and I could not even find the scar at all. It was a 15min consultation but went on for nearly 45mins.

Do you think it is worth the premium ?

There are multiple Turkish clinics with very good reputations that do more for way less than that. The premium won't get you more.

thanks man. Who would you recommend in Turkey apart from Asmed as dr koray erdogan seems to be the best so far in Turkey ?

starting to get serious now.... I am deciding between Asmed Dr Koray in Turkey or Hasson and Wong in Vancover.

Both FUE.

Asmed Dr Koray Erdogan = 4500/5000 grafts = 11,250-12500 Euros
Hasson and Wong = 3500 grafts = $16500

what do you think?

Sorry off topic. Did finasteride help regrow a little or did it just slow down your hair loss? How bad was the bald spot 10 years ago?

I had a bit of regrowth but overall a dramatic slow down I would say. 10 years ago I would say it was 50% fuller than what it is now.
