Hi all

I have started looking at buying minoxidil online and see that it comes in various different forms. Foam, solution or pills. Also varying percentage concentrates.

What have people been using and what do you recommend out of the options?

all the same sh*t.

oral is the best vehicle for delivery, most convenient but least understood.

Foam is most expensive, but not any better then liquid.

Liquid is all around the most ideal approach cost, and results wise. Seeing as you will probably need 2 bottles a month, opposed to the proclaimed 1 bottle recommendation. I tend to bathe my scalp in the solution, in which I would never be able to do with 1ml.

How has your hair done on the minoxidil liquid? I just quit finasteride and I don't want to take minoxidil because of the dependent hairs or major sheds people complain about.

Any current treatment that grows hair will be hair that is "dependent". There is no current treatment that you can take, grow hair, quit and keep the hair. Don't let that stop you. If anything minoxidil will buy you time until something comes down the pike. Get some Kirkland...dirt cheap and just as effective as the expensive minoxidil.

I have used Kirkland (foam) and Lipogaine (liquid), and not noticed any difference in results.

I will say that the liquid can be easier to apply to your hair (depending on its length), and in reaching the roots; however the foam doesn't make your look terrible afterwards - the liquid makes your hair look very greasy.
