Dude, think about it.

Have a read of some of the posts on this and other forums about say the causes of balding, look for posts that refer to studies and are informative and see if you can spot him.

I'm not trying to be a dick here, i just think if you do that, you'll have an 'oh yeah!' moment. :)

I've been here for years and have no idea either.

No need to mock someone for asking a question, we all have things we don't know.

We have a regular poster here who is very knowledgeable called Bryan, maybe it's him?

I'm a frequent poster here and on other hairloss sites. I've been interested in hair loss for a long time.

Just do a search for Bryan and Proxiphen...Bryan and Proctor...Bryan and Nano...from now to 10+ years back.

I dont know the relationship of proctor (or his products) and brian, but I know if some treatment worked for me regarding male pattern baldness then I would be preaching about it too.

What I don't understand is how is he credible? is he a scientist or doctor or whatever the hell else is credible these days?

it seems as if his words are written in stone and when people talk about him they hold him in the same regard as Dr. Lee and Dr. Rassman and other hair loss elite.

That is my confusion. If he is so knowledgeable and people hold him in high regard, how come he doesnt create a product that helps us with male pattern baldness? He probably advises us to use proctor's products but I know they don't work for everyone.

so why not just create his own product and one-up proctor or even sell proctor or other doctors his formula if he cannot manufacture and supply his own due to budget problems?

I dont mean to come off as disrespectful, I'm just curious.

There is a before/after of him after supposedly using Prox-N..which doesn't show much. He hasn't used ANYthing for YEARS. How convenient that the product he runs around promoting...he's just too lazy or doesn't care any more, to use.

Even after saying here that he doesn't go out of his way to post about the product- he only does so when asked about it etc...he still couldn't resist pushing it in a thread that wasn't asking him about it. Then recently he did the same thing at HLH . A poster asked: "What can I use to lower hairline? Don't care about side effects, or long-term damage. Was thinking about Tacrolimus. Anyone had success with this, or another nuclear growth stimulant? " Bryan posted: "Using Proxiphen for "getting nuclear on hairline" would be an obvious no-brainer. "

Besides him not being able to restrain himself(and I don't even read every thread so who knows what else is out there)..there is no evidence either from him or Dr. Proctor or anyone else to make it "an obvious no-brainer".

On your question about why doesn't he create a product...that's another thing. There's no need to create another product...but over the 10+ years what else has Bryan posted about regarding new treatments or other product lines? Not much. Except for Revivogen..which we now know is nothing special. There are plenty of other "knowledgeable" folks around here..I don't expect them to come out with products either. Some are trying out "experimental" treatments though.

BTW..Proctor's coming here and posting in the thread about Dr. Lee shutting down was what got me going on this again. IMO this Prox crap has been the slickest, sickest(not in a good way) shillin' campaign.. ever.

Thanks for the analysis Jacob even though your statement might be a bit partial due to past arguments.

However, you did answer my question. I thought he was some huge scientist or doctor that gave impartial advice on hairloss websites. Thats why I figured he could create his own product.

I have nothing against him, I was just curious to see who he was since I've been reading posts and debates about him on multiple hairloss websites.

All opinions aside, I'm sure many have benefited from him and others not so much.

But its good to have knowledgeable posters on here. I for one, am new to hairloss and i try to seek as much info as I can.

Thanks for the help guys
