Well Statham might look good despite baldness but lets face it given the choice no one would actually pick him as their #1 choice of how to look. fact???

Nah, the other day I saw posts in another forum praising Statham's looks. A bunch of kids wanting to imitate the "stubble in face and head" look

By the way Krillen was never bald, he just shaved his head, so he doesn't count

not sure where most everyone is located, but out here in S. California the majority of young people (under 30) are sporting a buzzed cut look of 3 or 4 guard and no guard if they can pull it off. I myself a NW1 (dedicated fighter of the NW6) chopped it down to #3 last week and can't believe the number of younger females that liked it. My head is fairly round and I liked it so much I may go lower in the summer. Stratham and Kelly Slater (surfer) have really changed the view on baldness of today, I really don't think it is as bad as most would think, we are always harder on ourselves than others are. Personally I think the #1 - #3 buzzed looks much better on younger balding men than middle aged (me) :(

Billy Corgan. Not even because he's bald, I just love his music. :D

Although I do admire the fact that he pulled off the bald rock star thing so well. He was at his coolest when he was totally bald. He also made me realize you can be a younger guy and still look cool with a shaved head. Not that I'm not going to try to hang on for a few more years. :)

I also think he knows how to pull off the look as far as clothing and demeanor goes. When he lost his hair he shifted to a darker more subdued style of dress, a lot of black and later gothic inspired fashion. I think that's the direction I'd go if I had to shave my head.

For me it's gotta be the footballer Freddie Ljungberg... He had a penchant for wild hairstyles a while back, including a bright red mohawk, but people began to poke fun at him a few years ago as he started receeding to a NW3...

He then responded by shaving it all off and landing an underwear modelling contract with none other than Calvin Klien! :woot: All girls find this guy irresistable and if anything he probably looks better without the hair!... Yes I know he's better looking than your average Joe Norwood, but it's quite inspirational nonetheless

He carries his baldness very well, wears really nice formal clothing (looks best with the bald look imo) and is a great actor aswell. Sometimes he shaves it slick and sometimes he grows his horseshoe out, seems like it doesn't bother him too much. I believe he is almost 50 years old.

Is that Chris Keller from OZ?

Now I look back, the main supervisor bloke in that show was bald and banged all the women, I never thought much of his baldness back when it was on TV.

Forget about bald heroes.
How about a thread called :

'Which bald guy do you wish you looked like'?
