Why can't we lose the sides and back, but keep the middle?
But do not be so harsh with your own situation.
Genetics are pure chance but whats guaranteed (and can be blamed) is societys extremely sh!tty treatment of us.

Though I'm just wondering hellouser, have you ever actually been treated less of a person because of your alopecia?
Genetics is not necessarily pure chance. Was your dad bald? If so, there was a damn good bet that you would be too. Similarly for your mom's side.
Every single one of us thats NW2 and up has at least been affected by it even without knowing, as in, indirectly. For example; you go in for a job interview, everyone is all smiles, but the dude with the same credentials as you gets the job but only because he's got his youth from his hair. It's a silent snubbing. Then there's other times where women will mock you for it (happened to me before) or coworkers will tell you to get married soon or you never will because your balding, only to follow up their comments with laughter.

Grandfather on mothers side turned into an NW3 in his 20s. Stayed that way until he died at age 77. I've developed everything exactly the same as him. On my moms side, great grandfather had a full head of hair however if you look at her cousins/distant cousins some guys have hair loss and can only think of ONE person with full NW6 loss... but for this I'd have to go back like 3 or more generations to have a connection with. My dads an NW1 with a bit of (normal) thinning in his crown at age 56. Grandfather on dads side died at around 60 years of age also as an NW1. Nobody is past an NW3 on my dads side (his cousins, uncles or other grandfathers).
Looks like I got the sh!t end of the stick unless I get somewhat lucky like my grandfather and stop progressing with hair loss and remain as NW3 for life (which I can bring down to NW2 with a single FUE).

In my case, my dad went NW6 before he was 18, and same for grandpa. So in my case, it was a given.

u might have even gotten to norwood 5 had u not used treatment
i cant consider u part of the receder crew anymore
