Why doesn't it ever improve?
By default, shouldn't a man with an ok job, and who goes gym and has some social skills be doing ok in life?

so why doesn't my situation ever improve?

going to the gym
trying to improve my career
making friends at work

still i am lonely still no girlfriend still no women still boring weekends and nothing to look forward to.

why doesnt' it ever improve?

very important, especially if you're ethnic. some places are racist af, overtly or covertly. will hurt your chances for sure. but our friend isn't looking for
many meaningless dates I don't think, he's looking for love. but even that's a number game really

Because you have been brainwashed into believing there is only one situation or only one option for you to be happy. There are plenty of people out there who are lonely because they don't think they are good enough. Or it's the other way around, that they can't find anyone that is good enough for them. I believe it's just better to let destiny work out the way it should. You are just too impatient to do that. You are like most people. You want instant gratification and you want it yesterday.

It's true anyone can get sex from prostitutes but where can you get unconditional love besides maybe a dog or a cat? You know how rare that is? Just learn to focus on a few things you enjoy and be open to the fact that maybe sometime in the future when you least expect it, something different will happen and it will be to your advantage. You have been on this forum for a while and not once looked to help someone else. You only care about yourself. Think about that.

He is around 27 or 28. Myself I wanted to have a family and kid on the way aged 30. That didn't happen. When it didn't, I was justifiably disappointed. I wouldn't say that my problem was looking for instant gratification. I had this plan in mind over 4 years. Surely that's not instant relative to human lifespan? I also certainly don't think that people who only think about themselves have worse lives.

In my opinion, @Feelsbadman, your personality may be flawed or not, but I think that it doesn't matter and the reason why your situation doesn't improve is same as for me. Hair loss. Go get some hair transplant consultations and ask on here about those instead of about your life in general.

I think you have a point about letting ‘destiny work out the way it should’

Retrospectively when I look back at my failures, I can now understand why many of them happened. The women I failed with for example, they were not right for me, which at the time I could not see until meeting someone worth being with.

Similarly with job roles I did not get in the past, felt the same thing - but then something better has come along later of I later realise that I just wasn’t ‘ready’ for them
