Hi all, I was doing some thinking and I was on Propecia for 2 mts, stopped cause of the price, didn't have any side effects or anything when I was on it and didn't notice any accelerated loss after I stopped and I've been off it since April but recently I've noticed my hairline getting worse on the right side so I got on Proscar and I cut it into fourths and I just got done with my first full pill.
However I was doing some thinking about it and I thought why even get on finasteride in the first place? From everything I've read on here it loses it's effectiveness after what, 2 yrs? So yeah you'll keep what you have now for only 2 yrs but once the drug starts wearing off you'll go thru massive loss of what you have kept for the 2 yrs you were on it and you'd have to go thru all the trama of losing all of this hair you've maintained while on finasteride for 2 yrs. If it worked forever I'd stay on it without second thought for the rest of my life, but why invest all this money and emotions and stuff into something that only works for like 2 yrs then what are you supposed to do? I hope Im totally wrong about this but from all I've seen it seems like this is how it goes, anyone with any thoughts and opinions?
