Why is every bald guy automatically my "twin"?

So there's a new guy at work. The guy's a NW6 and he shaves his sides. I'm a diffuse thinner with no bald spots and a NW2 hairline..but my hair is really thin, almost like baby hair. As soon as I saw him, I knew everyone was going to compare the two of us and laugh. Of course..sure enough, a group of females calls me over and says "hey we saw your twin today" and then they all stared laughing and calling me his name (as if I didn't have my own.) One person even went on to say "He's laughing, but I bet he's pissed on the inside."
I have been pretty good at not letting comments affect me, but this one really pissed me off.

Yeah, I get it that these people were b****s and I shouldnt let it bother me, but man did it ever. First of all, we look NOTHING alike except for the shaved heads, I thought this guy has way less hair than me, but whatever. I've also been working out pretty hard for almost 6 months now in an effort to have ONE thing going for me, while this guy is a twig. I'm also about a foot taller. People are saying stuff like "I keep getting the two of you confused..hahahaha."

Nothing against this other guy, he seems like a really nice guy. The point i'm trying to make is this. Are all people with shaved heads to hide thinning hair automatically look alikes? Are we grouped into one category regardless of our physique and facial features? I spent a lot of time, money and effort getting into shape and getitng some nice clothes and then all of a sudden "well, you;re bald, so you look like every other bald guy." Damn, why don't I just wear sweat pants and eat fast food since every bald guy is my twin?

1)Just for the record, this isn;t the first time this has happenned.
2) excercising has made me feel healthier and was a good move regardless.
3)I know this post may sound a tad melodramatic and I'll feel better later, but its been a bad day.

Any thoughts, opinions or insights?

Oh man, what happened to you was so rude and I am sorry you had to go through it. I can't believe they did that to you.

I am 20 years old and i'm probably a NW1.5?

And my friends call me Hulk Hogan, even though i
don't even have a bald spot, just a receding hairline.

What i do is i go along with it,
I do the Hulk Hogan taunt and all that.

But at night, in bed, it's where it really gets to me.

NW1.5 at 20 is completely normal...infact itd probably be the average hairline at that age...

I dunno how your friends would even notice it. Its still more hair than the average white male has :dunno:
